IPTA Recertification Overview
As your International Personal Trainer Academy (IPTA) Certified Personal Trainer certification approaches its renewal period, staying certified is simple and straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure your recertification process is seamless.
Steps for Recertification
- Review Recertification Requirements
- You must meet one of the following:
- Earn 24 Continuing Education (CE) credits through educational activities such as webinars, conferences, or online training.
- Retake and pass the current IPTA CPT exam ($200).
- You must meet one of the following:
- Ensure Your CPR Certification is Current
- All CPT certifications require a valid CPR certification. Submit a copy of your CPR certificate with your application.
- Submit Your Recertification Application
- Complete the Recertification Application Form and attach all necessary documentation. Incomplete applications may delay processing.
- Applications must be submitted 15 days before your certification expiration.
How to Apply
- Download and complete the Recertification Application Form.
- Attach:
- A PDF of your valid CPR certification.
- Documentation of CE activities (if applicable).
- Email your application and supporting materials to [email protected].
Attestation and Payment
- By submitting your application, you agree to the IPTA Code of Conduct and policies outlined in the IPTA Candidate Handbook.
- Recertification Fee: $99. An invoice will be issued upon application approval, and certification renewal will follow after payment
