International Personal Trainer Academy CPT
What is the International Personal Trainer Academy CPT?
The International Personal Trainer Academy CPT is personal training certification launched in 2023 that focuses on entry-level certification for fitness professionals.
What are the requirements to qualify for the IPTA CPT?
To qualify for our personal training certification, you must meet these three requirements:
– Be 18+ years of age
– Hold a high school diploma or the equivalent
– Hold a current CPR/AED certification
Is the IPTA CPT accredited by the NCCA?
The IPTA CPT is accredited by the NCCA, as of January 2024. The NCCA is the gold standard accreditation for fitness organizations.
What platform is used for the certification exam?
For the certification exam testing, we use Prometric and their associated companies. This allows testers to take their exam in-person at official proctoring locations or through remote proctored exams.
Where can I apply for the certification?
The IPTA CPT application process can be started from the IPTA CPT home page. We will go through your application to ensure you meet the requirements, and after application acceptance, you can schedule your exam.
How do I prepare to take the International Personal Trainer Academy CPT certification exam?
The IPTA CPT Textbook is available for free from the textbook home page. The textbook is available on Kindle, Apple Books, and can be downloaded in a PDF format.
You can also buy a study program with us to help cut down study time and focus on passing the exam. This is complete with a study guide, flashcards, mnemonic devices, and more.
In compliance with national accrediting standards for certification programs, the International Personal Trainer Academy Certification Council, the governing body for the CPT certification program, is not involved in the development or delivery of review materials for International Personal Trainer Academy’s CPT certification examination.
The Council does not require candidates for its CPT certification to purchase training materials. Purchase of resources to prepare for the International Personal Trainer Academy CPT certification are optional and does not guarantee a passing score on the exam.

Depending on the tier of package that you have, the materials we offer to help learners are study guides, practice tests, flashcards, study guide answers, mnemonics, blueprint, cram sheet plan, audio guide, and a cheat sheet.
How long do I have access to my purchased study packages?
Our study materials and packages come with lifetime access. We understand that sometimes you need a break from studying or life gets in the way, and regardless of when you purchase the program, you get to come back to our most up-to-date version of your certification program.
What certifications does International Personal Trainer Academy have study materials for?
We have study packages for the NSCA CSCS, NSCA CPT, NASM CPT, ACE CPT, ACSM CPT, ISSA CPT, NCSF CPT, NASM CES, NASM PES, NASM CNC, and ISSA Nutritionist.
What are the three tiers of study packages?
Our materials come in three package tiers. These are the Rookie, All-star, and MVP packages. Rookie is the most basic of the packages, All-star is an upgrade of the Rookie package and includes flashcards and practice tests, and MVP is the final ultimate package, including all study materials and a pass guarantee.
Are the materials offered in a digital format?
Our materials are handled through our own LMS learning platform. This allows us to have all study materials within one location, digitally, and easy to use on phone, tablet, or computer.
Do study packages include official textbooks?
We do not include official textbooks with our study programs. We only include study materials for all programs unless it is our own the International Personal Trainer Academy certification program.

Where can I find the Study Guide, Flashcards, Tests, Performance, Audio Guide, and other study materials offered?
We suggest all users go through the instruction manual found on the home page once signing in on your trial or paid subscription account. This will go through all of the features in order to help you get acquainted with the study system. If a problem arises, reach out to one of the support channels on this site.
How do I cancel or unsubscribe from my monthly subscription?

How can I delete my account?

How and when do I get access or receive the materials?
Upon purchasing, you will have immediate access to all study materials that you purchased here at Trainer Academy.
All of our study materials are digital and can be accessed in your study portal. All of our study materials can be accessed on any device such as a smartphone, tablet or computer.
If you do not receive access within 5 minutes, please email support or reach out through the chat and we will get it resolved as quick as possible.
How can I login to my Study Program?
If you purchased your program after April, 2024, you can login in the new login at https://study.traineracademy.org/sign-in.
If you bought a program prior to April, 2024, then you can login at https://learn.traineracademy.org/login.

How can I purchase the products?
You can purchase products on the desired study programs page (found in the drop-down menu at the top). You will need to click sign-up and this will allow you to set up your account and also pay for the program. You can pay for the products using a credit card, debit card, or Paypal. We also offer 1-click checkout with Link.
How are your products delivered?
Our products are delivered through the Podia platform. This is the most convenient platform for us and learners to use the materials. The study products will be available as documents or links in the case of flashcard study or practice testing.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a refund within 48 hours on our products, and we also offer a pass guarantee on our MVP programs. This means that if you fail your certification exam, you get all of your money back, no questions asked. We are very confident that you will pass your certification exam, but just in case, we are happy to refund you in case something does go wrong.
My test is very soon… how quickly can I start studying?
You can set up your account, sign in, and start studying ASAP. We know that your time is very important, so we make sure that the process is quick and easy to get you in and studying.

Here at Trainer Academy we usually recommend that you spend 16 weeks studying. But, this can vary depending on how much knowledge you already have.
