What is the Trainer Academy CPT?
The Trainer Academy CPT is personal training certification launched in 2023 that focuses on entry-level certification for fitness professionals.
What are the requirements to qualify for the TA CPT?
To qualify for our personal training certification, you must meet these three requirements:
– Be 18+ years of age
– Hold a high school diploma or the equivalent
– Hold a current CPR/AED certification
What platform is used for the certification exam?
For the certification exam testing, we use Prometric and their associated companies. This allows testers to take their exam in-person at official proctoring locations or through remote proctored exams.
Where can I apply for the certification?
The Trainer Academy CPT application process can be started from the TA CPT home page. We will go through your application to ensure you meet the requirements, and after application acceptance, you can schedule your exam.
How do I prepare to take the Trainer Academy CPT certification exam?
The Trainer Academy CPT Textbook is available for free from the textbook home page. The textbook is available on Kindle, Apple Books, and can be downloaded in a PDF format.
In compliance with national accrediting standards for certification programs, the Trainer Academy Certification Council, the governing body for the CPT certification program, is not involved in the development or delivery of review materials for Trainer Academy’s CPT certification examination.
The Council does not require candidates for its CPT certification to purchase training materials. Purchase of resources to prepare for the Trainer Academy CPT certification are optional and does not guarantee a passing score on the exam.

How can I find the study packages offered by Trainer Academy?
You can find all of our study materials by using the “Study Materials” drop-down menu at the top of any page on Trainer Academy. From there, you can choose which of the study programs you are looking for. Make sure to sign up for a sample chapter or ask our live chat for help with that.
What is included in the study packages?
Depending on the tier of package that you have, the materials we offer to help learners are study guides, practice tests, flashcards, study guide answers, mnemonics, blueprint, cram sheet plan, audio guide, and a cheat sheet.
How long do I have access to my purchased study packages?
Our study materials and packages come with lifetime access. We understand that sometimes you need a break from studying or life gets in the way, and regardless of when you purchase the program, you get to come back to our most up-to-date version of your certification program.
What certifications does Trainer Academy have study materials for?
We have study packages for the NSCA CSCS, NSCA CPT, NASM CPT, ACE CPT, ACSM CPT, ISSA CPT, NCSF CPT, NASM CES, NASM PES, NASM CNC, and ISSA Nutritionist.
What are the three tiers of study packages?
Our materials come in three package tiers. These are the Rookie, All-star, and MVP packages. Rookie is the most basic of the packages, All-star is an upgrade of the Rookie package and includes flashcards and practice tests, and MVP is the final ultimate package, including all study materials and a pass guarantee.
Are the materials offered in a digital format?
Our materials are handled through the Podia platform, Brainscape, and Brillium. Podia allows us to deliver the study materials in the best and most convenient format. Brainscape allows us to offer flashcards in an easy-to-use for learners. Lastly, Brillium allows for ease of testing for the practice test materials.
Do study packages include official textbooks?
We do not include official textbooks with our study programs. We only include study materials for all programs unless it is our own Trainer Academy certification program.

How can I purchase the products?
You can purchase products on the desired study programs page (found in the drop-down menu at the top). You will need to click sign-up and this will allow you to set up your account and also pay for the program. You can pay for the products using a credit card, debit card, or Paypal. We also offer 1-click checkout with Link.
How are your products delivered?
Our products are delivered through the Podia platform. This is the most convenient platform for us and learners to use the materials. The study products will be available as documents or links in the case of flashcard study or practice testing.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a refund within 48 hours on our products, and we also offer a pass guarantee on our MVP programs. This means that if you fail your certification exam, you get all of your money back, no questions asked. We are very confident that you will pass your certification exam, but just in case, we are happy to refund you in case something does go wrong.
My test is very soon… how quickly can I start studying?
You can set up your account, sign in, and start studying ASAP. We know that your time is very important, so we make sure that the process is quick and easy to get you in and studying.
