Molly Oliva Experience
It was while studying communications in college that Molly realized she wanted to be a personal trainer. She struggled heavily with panic disorder and generalized anxiety. As she worked with her own personal trainer, she was enlightened to the fact that by exercising often and eating a balanced diet, she could have better control over her mental health. Learning first-hand about the mental and physical health connection, she knew she wanted to shed light on the subject and teach other women who were enduring life with panic attacks. It was then that she discontinued her study of communications and instead pursued her personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
She’s grateful for the various opportunities God granted her within the fitness sphere. Those opportunities include: Improving the lives of women through one-on-one strength training sessions with an emphasis on performance, rather than on body-image; Enhancing the athleticism of youth through one-on-one training sessions as well as group training with an emphasis on the skills needed for their specific sports and of course, having fun; Motivating people to discover what kind of exercise they enjoy by holding outdoor group fitness classes; Helping plan and execute the grand opening of a niche-specific fitness center in Manhattan Beach before moving on to launch her own private practice; And assisting an aspiring entrepreneur with the launch of his pre-workout mix. It’s a joy to not only help women better understand their body and brain, but to also collaborate with other fitness entrepreneurs.
